There are currently 100 students at Princeton who graduated
from the United World Colleges, many of whom feel a strong urge and
responsibility for implementing these ideals of the United World Colleges
among the members of the Princeton University community, and broader.
Membership to the UWC Club at Princeton
is open and you don't have to be a UWC graduate to be part of our club! We
are open to anyone who is interested in the UWC movement and its
mission. We would like to invite more non-UWC members because our
goal is to unite all students.
If you would like to be put on our mailing address to find out about our
events, please email uwc@princeton.edu.
Our Mission:
Established in 2007, the UWC Club at
Princeton aims to foster the ideals and mission of the UWC movement at Princeton University. The UWC Club at
Princeton would seek to promote awareness and understanding of political,
social, and cultural issues of the world by providing opportunities to Princeton students for intercultural learning,
developing leadership skills and community service.
The types of events and programs
we hope to initiate include global concerns, community service projects,
summer projects, guest speaker events, mentor-mentee program and social
get-togethers.
